See the New Burke come to life

In May 2016, more than 500 guests gathered on the Northwest corner of the University of Washington campus to celebrate the New Burke’s official groundbreaking. Less than two years later, construction was complete and the Burke team began to move millions of meticulously-packed objects from the former facility into the New Burke. Now that the objects are in their new home, we're busy unpacking collections and building the exhibits inside the New Burke.
