IKIP TRICHOPTERA REPORT
RESULTS TO DATE.-The taxonomic diversity of the IKIP
trichopteran specimens identified to date consists of 77 species belonging
to 42 genera in 18 families. Published results on this material include
one new archipelago, and one new island, record for one species (see New Trichoptera Records), and the
description of one new species (see New Insect
Species). All of these specimen records, complete with corresponding
locality data, are on-line and fully searchable (see IKIP Databases). The taxonomists who have
examined this material are listed below:
- AREFINA, Tatyana (Institute of Biology and Pedology,
Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladivostok, Russia). Material examined:
all trichopteran taxa from 1994 and 1995 expeditions (Russian team's
collections).
- ITO, Tomiko (Hokkaido Fish Hatchery, Eniwa, Hokkaido, Japan).
