Celebrate the opening of We Are Puget Sound with early members-only access!
Join us for an exciting evening of learning and fun! Burke members are invited to preview and enjoy our latest exhibit, We Are Puget Sound.
The event will feature live music, local artists, and opportunities to win prizes.
— Eat local bites from Ivar's and Taylor Shellfish.
— Drink limited-edition beer created by Lucky Envelope Brewing especially for the occasion.
— Listen to live music by Miguel Escobar.
— Watch master carver James Madison (Snohomish/Tlingit) at work in the Artist Studio.
We Are Puget Sound highlights those devoted to conserving our region through stunning photography, interpretive displays, and Burke Museum collections. See canoe models, clam baskets, and specimens from the Burke’s fish, plant, and fossil collections — including a Steller sea lion skull and fossilized geoduck relatives.

Where do I park?
There is limited parking in the museum parking lot, N1. The N1 lot is $6.25 from 4–9 p.m. After 6 p.m., public parking is free in lots N27 and N5. Parking is NOT guaranteed, and we encourage you to take alternative means of transportation.

Is this an all-ages event?
Yes! This event is for all ages. Alcohol will be available for those 21 and older. For a more family and youth-focused experience, consider joining us on Sunday, June 4, for Family Day. Member families will receive a special gift!
Can I bring a guest?
This event is for Burke members and invited donors only. If you have a flexible guest membership, you can bring up to one adult guest. If you have guest passes you would like to use, please let us know in advance by contacting burkemem@uw.edu.
