Throughout the museum 

– Investigate the patterns represented in nature and by cultures using our Shapes and Patterns Husky Hunt 

Floor 2 Biology Alcove 

– Learn the patterns of insect morphology with the Build a Bug activity, get inspired by local weaving to create your own wristband design, and interpret the pattern on snakes' backs to determine if they are friend or foe.  

Floor 3 Paleontology Alcove 

– Create your own patterns with crystal shapes, design your own ammonite shell using inspiration from our fossil collections, and use patterns as a guide to reconstruct trilobites, megalodon teeth, and more!
