Get closer to everything you love about the Burke at our first Members' Behind-the-Scenes Night in the new building. Step inside workrooms and storage spaces to see collections up close and meet Burke experts at this exclusive members' event.
This year:
- Drink specials at Off the Rez Café
- Live music by the Elias Hampton Trio

Highlights from the collections:
- Chat with Burke paleontologists about minerals from the geology collections, fossils from Hell Creek, Montana, and more.
- Visit the archaeology collections storage space and talk to experts.
- Check out the nest and egg collection, see spectacular butterfly specimens, and learn more about the Genetic Resource Collection and how it is used.
- Learn about textiles from Vietnam and baskets in the Culture workroom.
