About the Artist
Hi! I’m Angana, I grew up in Mumbai, India — a crowded city in a crowded country — where my world revolved around friends, family, and my love for psychology and art. After getting married, I moved to the United States, had a baby, and lived through a pandemic.
My Story
One day, my six-year-old asked for henna on her hands, just for fun. This simple request rekindled my passion for henna art, which soon became a way to reconnect with loved ones.
Henna is My Passion
Through my passion about sharing the art of henna, my goal is to make it accessible to everyone in its most authentic form. I believe it’s important to not only appreciate the beauty of henna but also to understand its deep historical roots and cultural significance. Through education, I hope to preserve and promote this ancient tradition for future generations.
