Taxonomy, faunistics and zoogeography of all spider groups of
Siberia and northwestern North America, and that of selected groups from
Central Asia, southern Russian Far East and adjacent territories for
Amaurobiidae, Araneidae, Dictynidae, Gnaphosidae, Mimetidae, Salticidae,
Theridiidae, and Thomisidae; general zoogeographical divisions of the
entire Holarctic Region, and subdivisions of the East Palaearctic;
importance of the Beringian land bridge in the Siberian and northwestern
North American spider faunogenesis; amber inclusions of the orb-weaving
spiders, the Theridiidae and Nesticidae; terrestrial arthropods and
oligochaetes of the Kuril Islands.
